Credit Authorization

By submitting your request, you provide explicit written instructions under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) authorizing converfund.com and authorized third parties to obtain your consumer credit report directly from nationwide Consumer Reporting Agencies (including Equifax, TransUnion, and Experian) for the limited purposes specified below.

1. Authorization for converfund.com

  • Scope of Access: You authorize converfund.com to pull your consumer report directly from a credit bureau solely to: (i) confirm your identity; (ii) conduct prequalification evaluations to route your inquiry to relevant service providers; (iii) enforce fraud prevention and regulatory compliance; and (iv) deliver mandatory legal disclosures.

  • Non-Lender Disclaimer: We are an online referral platform, not a direct credit provider. Prequalification checks are performed strictly to facilitate matching and routing your request.

2. Authorization for Marketing Partners

  • Third-Party Screening: You grant permission to our Lending Partners, designated intermediaries (lender networks, aggregators), and personal finance service providers—including JG Wentworth, National Debt Relief, Debt.help, Accredited Debt Relief, RoundSky, AmOne, CuraDebt, DebtMD, Pacific Debt Relief, and ClearOne—to retrieve your credit file directly from a credit bureau for eligibility pre-screening.

3. Credit Inquiry Types & Score Impact

  • Soft Inquiries: Initial eligibility checks conducted through our service are soft credit pulls, which appear on your credit report but do not impact your credit score.

  • Hard Inquiries: If you proceed with a formal loan application or program enrollment with a matched lender, that specific provider may perform a hard credit inquiry, which may affect your credit score according to their independent disclosures.

4. Data Protection & Non-Furnishing Policy

  • Zero Resale Policy: We do not sell, transfer, disclose, or furnish your credit report (or data derived directly from it) to any external entity. Authorized partners retrieve their own credit files independently from credit bureaus.

  • Service Providers: Internal IT and secure hosting vendors processing data under our strict instructions are contractually prohibited from utilizing your credit data for independent goals.

5. Terms, Duration & Withdrawal

  • Recurring Requests: Your authorization allows multiple credit pulls for a single request and remains valid for future credit inquiries initiated via our platform.

  • No Lending Decisions: We do not make credit approvals or set loan terms; all final credit determinations belong exclusively to participating lenders.
