Lending Goals

At Converfund, we are committed to protecting consumers against unfair lending practices by offering clear educational data, maintaining high service standards, treating users with respect, and partnering exclusively with lenders who uphold Fair Lending principles.

1. Authorized Lending Network

  • Licensed Partners: We work solely with legally compliant, authorized lenders across the industry.

  • Independent Terms: Rates, repayment schedules, late fees, and renewal options are established directly by each financial provider. Always verify your lender's specific details and terms upon being connected.

2. Credit Score Factors

  • Score Impact: Your credit score represents your creditworthiness based on major credit bureau reports.

  • Negative Effects: Delayed payments, missed deadlines, debt rollovers, and multiple credit inquiries can lower your score. Less-than-perfect credit does not automatically disqualify you, but all offers remain subject to lender credit approval.

3. Late & Missed Payments

  • Late Payment Consequences: Delaying a payment incurs additional penalty fees set by your lender. Contact your provider immediately if you anticipate missing a deadline. Personal loans are short-term financial instruments and should not be used for long-term debt struggles.

  • Missed Payments: Defaulting on a loan damages your credit rating and may trigger formal debt collection procedures. Thoroughly review your loan contract for specific default policies.

4. Debt Rollovers & Renewals

  • Rollover Costs: Extending a loan deadline incurs extra fees and maintains original interest rates without reducing your principal balance.

  • Renewal Types: Lenders generally offer unlimited renewals (costly and high-risk) or limited renewals (automatic or borrower-initiated). Review your provider's terms carefully prior to acceptance.

5. Debt Collection Procedures

  • Unpaid delinquent accounts may lead lenders to initiate internal collection efforts via mail, phone, or email.

  • Continued non-payment may result in referral to third-party collection agencies or authorized automatic account withdrawals as specified in your loan contract. Direct all collection inquiries to your assigned lender.
